Seth Rogen dismissed a story about his former office at the Sony Pictures studio lot smelling like marijuana as untrue.

The New York Daily News reports that an article written by The Hollywood Reporter said that outgoing Sony co-chief Amy Pascal was unable to move into an office shared by Rogen and his producing partner Evan Goldberg because the "stench of marijuana" could not be easily removed. The article included unnamed sources who said the smell of pot had seeped into the floor and could be detected throughout the building. Rogen responded to the story in a post on Instagram.

"I don't know what's more irresponsible: that they would print a story that is completely untrue, or that they would refer to how pot smells as a 'stench,'" Rogen wrote.

In an email to The Huffington Post, Rogen's publicist stood by his claims and criticized The Hollywood Reporter for publishing the story. It was also reported that Pascal was just having her new office re-painted. Tatiana Siegel, the reporter who wrote the story, has stood by her sources.
