The call from Lil Wayne’s Miami mansion has turned out to be a “swatting” incident and cops have now released the recording of the call.

As we previously reported, someone called the cops reporting four people were shot at his home La Gorce Island on Wednesday. The caller also threatened to open fire on anyone who showed up.

CBS Miami reports the two recordings were released on Thursday. “I just shot four people. I’m killing whoever else I see. I don’t give a [expletive] if you’re a cop or not I’m shooting to kill everyone…” said the unknown person, who called the non-emergency line.

He said of the people he made up shooting, “I don’t know if they’re OK I just really need somebody to get here…”

He repeatedly asked if the dispatcher was sending officers to the residence and when asked his name, he hung up the phone.

The Miami Beach Police Department’s Twitter account gave an update on the incident after news broke about it in the media, writing, “#UPDATE unfortunately this appears to be a ‘Swatting’ call. No victims /no injuries /no subject at 94 LaGorce.”
