Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout seems ready for her baby girl to arrive!
Bookout, the star of MTV’s Teen Mom OG spoke to E! News about how she feels emotionally different being pregnant this time around and she even revealed the name she picked out for her little girl.
The reality television star first found fame on the MTV series 16 & Pregnant with her ex-boyfriend and father of her son, Ryan Edwards. After welcoming their son, Bookout and Edward’s then starred on the hit MTV reality television show Teen Mom. She admitted to E! News that being pregnant at 16-years-old was “just negative” and that she even wanted to “hide from the world” because of her age.
This time around, the mother of 6-year-old son Bentley has a very different outlook on the experience and is able to enjoy being pregnant. "It's a positive experience and I feel like I'm allowed to be happy and allowed to be excited," the 23-year-old told E! News. Even though the emotional experiences are completely different, she admitted that this pregnancy is just as easy as her first one. She added in that she is experiencing “not too bad of symptoms.”
The reality star also has another reason to be very happy because she has finally chosen a name for her little girl. "It's Jayde and her middle name is Carter," said Bookout, who is due in June. "No more changes. We finally agree and really feel like this is the perfect fit." It was announced at the end of December that Bookout was expecting her second child with her longtime boyfriend, Taylor McKinney.
Bookout is currently starring on the new MTV reality television show, Teen Mom OG along with Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood. The show airs on MTV at 10 p.m. on Monday nights.
