Criminal Minds this week focused on the murders of two cops in a Texas prison. The team is called to find out who killed Officers Rudy Hightower and Keith Rivers.

When the team arrives, they meet the warden, played by Robert Gant, and the head of security, Dale Shavers. The victims had their fingers broken and a sock was stuffed into their mouths. There are plenty of suspects in the case considering it is a prison and more evidence comes when Reid finds out a surprising fact.

There is a focus on finding information about a prisoner named Devon White. His disappearance leads the team to discovering what is actually going on in the prison and they have to get to the bottom of the suspicious fights White had been a part of.

When we learn just who was involved, it becomes a tense ride as the agents tries to get all they need in order to apprehend those responsible. But when two agents’ lives are put in danger, that is when things really get testy.

This was an amazing, terrifying, and great episode of Criminal Minds. Plus, Thomas Gibson directed this episode and it is always fun to watch what happens when the actor steps into the director’s chair. Now we’re counting down the top moments from this action packed episode. What did you like the best from “Lockdown?”

10. Bets

The team finds evidence that Hightower and Rivers were depositing money to each other regularly and they believe the two men could have been betting on something. After finding information that an inmate who was a model prisoner before they arrived began getting disciplined more often, they think it’s possible there is a fight club in the prison. The scene below depicts the discovery of the second murder victim and the team being asked to take the case.
