On the latest episode of NCIS: New Orleans, the victim in the case is Petty Officer Maggie Barringer, who is run down by a vehicle outside of her workplace. The team discovers that she is a foster mother to two children named Danny and CJ.
At first, they think this could involve the social worker for child services, Sumner St. Croix, who has his own agenda for his company. But soon, more is discovered about Danny when we see that he is involved in drugs and a surprising connection is made with someone else, a man named Bull Costigan.
Meanwhile, Chris deals with his brother Cade, who seems to be doing well and taking his meds to combat his manic episodes. At one point, Cade invites him to see his group therapy sessions, which is actually a front to get Chris to get reacquainted with a classmate named Savannah.
This episode touched on the theme of family relationships, in particular the brotherly relationships between Danny and CJ and then Cade and Chris. For Danny and CJ, they faced the possibility of being separated and Chris dealt with the knowledge that his brother may not be doing as well as he hoped. Here is our list of some of the top moments from “My Brother’s Keeper.”
