In the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory, the main theme focused on the relationships between the couples as they went through various situations of their own. While they were not as prominently featured, Bernadette is focusing on taxes while Howard plays video games. As this is going on, Howard gets an urgent call from Raj, after he messes up girlfriend Emily’s bedside drawer when he is snooping around.
While this continues to play out, Amy and Sheldon are ready to get a turtle together. However, upon going to the pet store, she finds out Sheldon sent in an application to colonize on Mars without telling her. This upsets her a lot and they end up arguing about this happening.
Finally, Penny is surprised to find out Leonard went to a “dirty” store and picked up some body paints for them to wear so they can use themselves as a canvass while having sex. This leads to a silly moment when they first see that the canvass on the bed is not entirely filled out.
All in all, this episode did a good job of giving us a glimpse into each relationship and how they get through anything that is going on. For the most part. Here are the top ten moments from “The Colonization Application.”

Sheldon and Amy surprise Penny and Leonard with news that they are taking a new step in their relationship by getting a turtle. A funny part of this scene is when Penny makes a comment about champagne being put on ice for this kind of moment and Sheldon checks with Amy to see if this is sarcasm.
