The Big Bang Theory paid a special tribute to Howard’s mom tonight when a power outage threatens to ruin the food his mom made before she passed away. There are containers of food defrosting in the freezer and Howard decides to invite everyone for a final meal from his mom.
As this is happening, Sheldon and Leonard being quarreling when the paper they co-wrote is mentioned in a magazine but Leonard isn’t mentioned anywhere. He is hurt deeply, especially considering it was his idea that led to their theory. Amy and Penny both try to help them out.
The fighting between Leonard and Sheldon threatens the dinner Howard plans to celebrate his mom one more time. In the end, it leads to a protective Bernadette coming and a surprising revelation about how similar she is to her late mother-in-law.
