Jeremy Clarkson, the co-host of the BBC’s internationally popular car show Top Gear, was suspended earlier this week over a “fracas” with a producer. Now, there are more details of the incident.

As previously reported, the BBC only described the confrontation as a “fracas” and pulled this Sunday’s episode from the schedule. BBC News reports that there have been allegations that he punched the producer, who has been identified as Oisin Tyimon.

A source told The Daily Mirror that Clarkson “snapped” over a catering issue, as he blamed the producer for not having food laid out after a long day of filming.

Clarkson did speak with The Sun, which he writes a column for. “I'm having a nice cold pint and waiting for this to blow over,” he said.

Clarkson hasn’t directly addressed his suspension on Twitter, but he joked with his Top Gear co-hosts about movies the BBC could air on Sunday instead of Top Gear.

It’s not clear when Top Gear will be back. A spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter that the next episode will not air either.
