The promo for Lip Sync Battle has surfaced, showing stars like Anna Kendrick and John Legend battling to become the ultimate lip syncer.
The LL Cool J-hosted show will premiere on April 2 and its adapted from Jimmy Fallon’s popular Tonight Show segment. Just like on Fallon’s late night show, each episode will feature celebrities lip syncing to songs they choose.
The trailer shows what we’re in for when it comes to the show, like John Krasinsi in a dress and Anna Kendrick breaking it down to Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty.”
“Lip Sync Battling is one of the coolest things happening in pop culture right now and already has a huge fan base thanks to the amazing talent involved,” Casey Patterson, Executive Vice President, Talent Development and Production, Viacom Entertainment Group, said in a statement at the time of the announcement.
“We’re thrilled to be in business with producers as talented as Jimmy, John, and Stephen as Spike broadens its programming in new and exciting ways.”
