Actor Will Ferrell is known for doing some crazy stunts outside of movie sets, but the one he plans for Thursday is truly nuts. He’s going to use a helicopter to play in nine different Spring Training games in one day, appearing in a different position in each game.
USA Today’s Bob Nightengale tweeted that the Anchorman star will visit different Cactus League games in Arizona to show off his baseball skills.
One of the games will be the White Sox’s match-up against the Giants. According to the Chicago Tribune, the White Sox moved that day’s game to 4:05 p.m. local time for a cancer awareness charity event, hosted by MLB and HBO. Ferrell will be making his appearance during that event.
According to CBS Sports, two other games Ferrell is expected to play in are the Athletics-Mariners and Dodgers-Padres games.
Ferrell just happens to have a new movie coming out this month. Get Hard with Kevin Hart opens on March 27, so this stunt is some nice promotion for the movie.
