While only a select few can call themselves bonafide big league superstars who collect the big bucks, each team does need to employ under the radar utility players who can show versatility. It seems Will Ferrell very badly wants to showcase his utility prowess.

On Thursday, during Cactus League play (which is the Arizona version of MLB Spring Training), Ferrell has a long day head of him as a big league player. His plan is to suit up for 10 different teams, in five separate games, while playing all nine positions, via ABC News.

The entire day will be a part of an HBO special from his comedy website, Funny or Die. It will air later in 2015. In addition, memorabilia from today will be auctioned on MLB.com with all of the proceeds going to Stand Up to Cancer and Cancer for College.

His worthy day started out as a member of the Oakland Athletics, playing the incredibly prestigious short-stop position, notes MLB.

As soon as his Oakland career got started though, it abruptly ended. During the game he was traded to the Seattle Mariners, who the A's were currently playing. The natural fit for Ferrell for Seattle was second-base, just sliding over to his left a bit.

The announcer announced the trade to the audience during through the game.

Game two for Ferrell was participating in the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Angles game. For Cubs especially, seeing Ferrell in a Cubs uniform isn't an odd thing. Also, realizing his Harry Caray impression is so famous with the fans and the Cubs organization, the fit seems almost perfect.

Ferrell is currently in game three of the day as he plays for both the Cincinnati Reds and Arizona Diamondbacks. To wrap up the night he'll play for the defending champion San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox, Los Ageles Dodgers and San Diego Padres.

Which position he plays for the remainder of these teams remains a question mark. One thing is for sure though, based on his current play, whoever he's looking to be picked up by could only possibly be a team residing in the Little League division somewhere.
