The episode opens with Philip getting a surprise visit from Paige’s pastor. He needs a travel agent for the missionary trip so seeks Philip for help. He tries to convince Philip to come along with Paige for them to bond. However, Philip turns down the idea.
Stan takes Zinaide to a movie at the theaters. She leaves for the bathroom and Stan escorts her. She enters allow and while fixing her hair in the mirror she slips what seems to be a piece of paper under the sinks.
Philip has to leave during dinner to pick up a wasted Kimberly from a frat party. He takes her home and looks up the bug he had in her father’s office. Later that night, him and Elizabeth listen to it.
Meanwhile in the USSR, Nina is speaking with the scientist trying to get information and his trust. To help, she speaks in English with him and talks English back. He learns she was in America.
Stan visits the Jenning’s home to find Henry playing video games. He tells Henry about a board game and later on Henry goes to visit Stan himself. Stan explains to the young boy how his divorce is going and it’s not a happy time for obvious reasons.
After a brief mission, The Jennings return home to Paige. She lets go of all her feelings and says she knows that something is going on. All she wants is the trust but doesn’t matter what it is. After an awkward silence, Elizabeth and Philip sit down with their daughter and tell her the truth. They reveal that they are both from Russia and what they do is serve their country. Paige learns her parents are spies. Elizabeth stands up for what her and her husband do but Paige gets upset. Before she can walk off, her parents stop her saying how this needs to remain a secret. If Paige shares this information to anyone, she can have her mother and father put away forever.
The next morning, Elizabeth and Philip are still worried about Paige and Henry, having no idea what’s going on, is going on about a movie Stan let him watch. Paige wants to stay home from school since she got no sleep last night after what has happened. Elizabeth and Philip want to stay with her but she turns down their requests. She does, however, want to hear her parents speak Russian.
While Elizabeth and Philip continue to worry at their travel agent job, Paige calls Pastor Tim on the phone. She tells him that she talks to her parents about says nothing about the truth.
After work, The Jennings return to their daughter seeming a little more relaxed. Tension rises again at dinner when Paige gets her first look at how her parents work over Stan.
Paige knowing the truth is only the first step. Will Paige become a spy like her parents is the next question that “The Americans” will answer.
