Robin Williams has had many beloved roles and although he’s no longer with us, his legacy lives on in film. One actor took it upon himself to honor the late comedic icon in a video that has gone viral.
In the video, titled “Never Had a Friend Like Him,” actor Jamie Costa channels characters like Genie from Disney’s Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, Mork from his show Mork and Mindy and many more. In total, he impersonated 20 characters Williams has brought to life on both the big and small screen.
After he posted the video on Facebook, many commented that he should be cast in a biopic as Williams. His impersonations of Williams are spot-on.
Williams died of a suicide in August 2014. His publicist said in a statement that he had been “battling severe depression” in the months before his death.
