American Horror Story continues to welcome returning actors to take on roles for the newest season of the anthology series. This time, Angela Bassett will be returning for American Horror Story: Hotel.

Just as he did for actor Evan Peters, Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter that Angela Bassett would be returning to the show in October when the series airs, Deadline reported.

She previously had roles in AHS: Coven as a Voodoo Queen and on AHS: Freakshow, she took on the role of Desiree Dupree, who had three breasts.

There is no information yet on who she will be playing. She will join returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Peters, and Kathy Bates. Also joining the cast includes Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga, and Cheyenne Jackson.

As previously reported, Peters was part of the first four seasons of American Horror Story, in which he took on roles as a suspected serial killer in one season while another one found him dealing with having a deformed hand for Freak Show.

The plot of the show’s fifth upcoming season is not known, other than it takes place in a hotel that is haunted.

The show will air on FX in October.
