Billy Joel is expecting his second child and his first with longtime girlfriend Alexis Roderick. He already has 29-year-old Alexa Ray Joel with his ex-wife Christie Brinkley.
Joel’s rep confirmed he’s having a baby with his girlfriend of seven years on Tuesday.
"Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer. The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut,” the rep told Daily News.
The “Uptown Girl” singer, 65, and former Morgan Stanley executive, 33, are reportedly expecting a baby girl. Roderick is also an equestrian.
Back in 2010, Roderick told Daily News of her relationship with Joel, “we were friends for a while before we started dating."
A source told People of Joel he’s “thrilled to become a dad again.”
