Bruce Jenner will officially be breaking his silence on his transition to become a woman during a 2-hour special edition of 20/20 with Diane Sawyer. The date has been set for Friday, April 24.
After months of rumors, Jenner’s mom, Esther Jenner, 88, has been the only one to confirm his transition. Bruce hasn’t talked about it publicly, neither has any of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars.
“Bruce Jenner’s far-ranging, exclusive interview with ABC News Anchor Diane Sawyer airs Friday, April 24 on a special edition of 20/20,” the network said in a release, Deadline reports, never mentioning the transition. “The two-hour special, Bruce Jenner – The Interview airs on the ABC Television Network at 9 p.m., ET.”
There’s been rumors about a docu-series in the works for E! but KUWTK executive producer, Jeff Jenkins, denied there is any such show in the works. The fatal car crash he was involved with reportedly halted those plans.
