Singer Victoria Beckham and actress Jennifer Garner are celebrating their birthdays today, April 17.

Victoria Beckham, 41

Singer, model and fashion designer Victoria Beckham turns 41 today. Beckham first gained fame as a member of the Spice Girls alongside Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm. During the Spice Girls' career, they sold over fifty-five million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful groups in the '90s.

In 2000, Beckham started her solo career, releasing the single "Out of Your Mind." She laer released her self-titled debut album in 2001. The album reached No. 10 in the UK album chart. Due to poor sales and charting, she left Virgin Records. She later signed with Telstar Records and 19 Management. She had a successful single, "Let Your Head Go/This Groove," but her album was never released and the record company eventually went bankrupt.

Beckham decided to focus on fashion. She acted as a British ambassador for Dolce and Gabbana and became the face of Rocawear in 2003. She later launched dvb Denim collection at Saks Fifth Avenue. She launched her self-titled fashion label in 2008 and in 2011, she won Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.

Beckham reunited with the Spice Girls for a brief reunion tour. The group also performed at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony. She is married to soccer player David Beckham and has 4 children; 3 sons and one daughter.

Jennifer Garner, 43

Actress and film producer Jennifer Garner turns 43 today. Garner started her career on stage before transitioning to film, making her debut in Dude, Where's My Car?. She later had a recurring role in the television series Felicity from 1998 to 2002.

Garners breakthrough role came as Sydney Bristow in the television series Alias in 2001. She earned four Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama as well as Emmy Award nominations. She won a SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series in 2005. Garner has directed an episode and earned producing credits for during the show's final season.

After Alias, Garner went back to film, appearing in Catch Me if You Can, Daredevil, 13 Going on 30, Elektra, Juno, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Arthur, Butter, Dallas Buyers Club and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

Garner will next appear in the comedy Danny Collins, a film based on the true story of folk singer Steve Tilston. Garner is married to actor Ben Affleck. They have three children; daughters Violet and Seraphina, and son Samuel.
