Actors Patricia Arquette and Sung Kang are celebrating their birthdays today, April 8.

Patricia Arquette, 47

Actress Patricia Arquette turns 47 today. Arquette started her career on television, appearing in numerous made for tv films. She later gained praise for her role in the film True Romance. She went on to star in Ed Wood, Beyond Rangoon, Flirting with Disaster, Lost Highway, Little Nicky and Disney's Holes.

Arquette gained widespread success with her role as Allison DuBois in the NBC series Medium. In 2005, she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress and earned nominations for a Golden Globe in 2005, 2006 and 2007, SAG nominations in 2006, 2007 and 2010 and another Emmy nomination in 2007. NBC cancelled the series in 2009 and it was picked up for two more seasons on CBS. In 2013, she earned a recurring role on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire.

Arquette starred in the Richard Linklater film Boyhood which was filmed over a 12 year period. For her role, Arquette went on to win the Academy, BAFTA, Critics' Choice, Golden Globe, Independent Spirit and SAG Awards for Best Supporting Actress. She currently plays Avery Ryan in the next CSI regeneration, CSI: Cyber which airs on CBS.

Sung Kang,43

Actor and producer Sung Kang turns 43 today. Kang started his career as an extra in a few films before landing a starring role in the crime drama Better Luck Tomorrow. He went on to make appearances in the films Antwone Fisher, Forbidden Warrior and The Motel.

Kang landed the role of Han Lue in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. He reprised the role for Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6 and Furious 7. He also played and FBI agent in Jet Li's film War and the son of Genghis Khan in the film Forbidden Warrior.

Kang had a recurring role on the sketch comedy series MADtv from 2006 to 2008. He went on to make numerous television appearances in CSI: Miami, Knight Rider, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Monk. He later appeared in Live Free or Die Hard in 2007 and Bullet to the Head in 2013.

Kang starred in the short lived FOX series Gang Related which was cancelled after one season.
