Jimmy Fallon had Pharrell Williams on The Tonight Show last night, which means that there had to be some kind of musical performance. The two got together to perform as Afro & Deziak, the stars of a Soul Train knock-off called American Power Hour.
The two first sang “Girl I’m Gonna Get You In The Mood,” with Pharrell wearing an afro and a purple outfit. Fallon put on a terrible moustache to complete his weird look.
Their next song was “Girl, I’m Gonna Give You What I Got,” which sounds just as terrible as the first song, mostly because it is practically the same song. “Before we get undressed, I have just one request,” they sing. “Girl, plan a baby shower for my boss’ daughter!”
To torture us all, there’s a third song, which was just called “Girl.” Fallon has a really weird bit in this one. “Girl, can you take a drug test for me?” is just one of the questions asked in “Girl.”
