Chewbacca makes his big-screen return this December in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but you don't have to wait that long to see the furry alien. For he embodies Louis C.K.'s autobiographical persona in FX's Louie in the parody Chewie.
The short clip comes from The A.V. Club. Anyone familiar with the first three seasons can recognize the shot-for-shot recreations of the opening credits. Meanwhile, the new, fitting parody version of the theme song is also fits well. It also spills out the joke for those who didn't get why they put all this time and effort into this production.
Then, for an all-too-brief amount of time, Chewie is shown trying his hand at stand-up, which he may or may not excel in. It's hard to tell how good his comedic timing is when all he speaks is gargles.
Anyway, check out the clip below. Meanwhile, Chewie does indeed return very soon. Also returning soon is Louie, which begins its fifth season tonight.
