Chris Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran, seems to be doing just fine without him. Her show just got nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding New Approaches Drama Series.
Tran appears on the show as Vivian Johnson and reportedly landed the role over about 100 hopeful actresses. The show is called The Bay and it’s an online soap opera.
According to TMZ , Tran joined the show last year and even though she’s only been in about six episodes, she will reportedly got a much larger role next season.
When Tran found out Brown had lied to her and had fathered a child with someone else during their on-again, off-again relationship, she publicly broke up with him. She then appeared on OWN for an interview with Iyanla Vanzant from Iyanla: Fix My Life.
Meanwhile Brown is also doing just fine after their split, embracing fatherhood.
