For anyone who has desperately been waiting for a Friends reunion, there may be one cast member to blame for the possibility that we may never get one.

In an interview with Yahoo, Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller Bing on the show during its entire ten year run, said that all six cast members have not been together in one room since 2004 when the show ended.

She explained, “We’ve not really had a Friends reunion. We’ve gotten about 80 percent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end.”

Cox then teased, “I’m not going to name names, but it may not be [David] Schwimmer.” Schwimmer played her brother, Ross Geller, on the show.

Cox just finished her latest show Cougar Town and directed the movie Just Before I Go, which stars Seann William Scott.

The Huffington Post reported that Cox also said it was highly unlikely that there would be a movie based on Friends, saying, “Dear Lord, let it go people. We’re not doing it.” However, she did make a joke about doing her own film with Monica as the main star.

A Friends mini reunion did take place at the premiere of Cox’s movie last week, when Jennifer Aniston came to support her former co-star’s directorial debut.
