Even though the New England Patriots are just about done celebrating their Super Bowl XLIX victory, they still have one thing left to do: a White House visit. Cornerback Darrelle Revis, who has already left to join the rival New York Jets, will reportedly be attending.

The Patriots and the Obama administration announced on Thursday that the team will be honored with a meeting with President Barack Obama on Thursday, April 23. The president will also honor the team’s charitable efforts.

While we know that Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and other stars of the team will likely be there, it will be curious to see which members of the team have already left to join other franchises. A source told The Boston Herald that Revis will make the trip, despite his decision to leave the team after one season to sign a huge deal with the Jets.

Revis also found himself in a controversy over the weekend with Pats fans on Instagram. As Deadspin notes, he started arguing with them in the comment sections of his posts. Of course, Revis claimed he was hacked, but some fans don’t believe him.

The Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 to win their fourth Super Bowl since 2001. However, this will be their first White House trip during the Obama administration. Quarterback Brady was named Super Bowl MVP for a third time.
