May 20 is coming up fast, so CBS has teased the line-up for David Letterman’s last 28 shows as host of The Late Show. His guests include some of the biggest names in the entertainment world, including George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Downey Jr., and Julia Roberts.
Tonight’s guests include former Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker, 2015 Masters champion golfer Jordan Spieth and musical guest Asleep at the Wheel. On April 14, Letterman will have The Comedians star Billy Crystal, The Talk’s Julie Chen and country music star Chris Stapleton. April 15 will feature Michael J. Fox, Amy Sedaris and Iron & Wine with Ben Bridwell.
Kevin James, comedian Tom Dreesen and Tracy Chapman will appear on April 16. Alec Baldwin and John Mayer will be the guests on April 17.
CBS will announce the dates for the remaining guests. The list of celebrities who will appear on the show for the final time with Letterman are George Clooney, Robert Downey, Jr., Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Jack Hanna, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Keaton, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Don Rickles, Julia Roberts, Ray Romano, Paul Rudd, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short, Howard Stern, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Oprah Winfrey, The Avett Brothers and Brandi Carlile, Elvis Costello, Dave Matthews Band, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Mumford and Sons, Ralph Stanley and Amos Lee. Others will be announced closer to the air dates.
Letterman finishes his career as the longest-running late night talkshow host in history on May 20. Stephen Colbert will be taking over later in the year. Letterman has been hosting The Late Show since 1993 and hosted NBC’s Late Night before that.
