Dr. Phil criticized Bruce Jenner’s decision to transition during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night, suggesting he’s too old to do it now.
Kimmel asked the television doctor if he’s offended that Jenner went to Diane Sawyer for the exclusive interview announcing his transition and he admitted he would be “boring” to talk to.
“First off I would say, 'Look if it's what you want to do, do it. I mean, what the hell does it matter what anybody else thinks,’” he said, adding, he would then ask “You're almost 80, what's the point?”
Dr. Phil went on to ask, "He's kind of like past the prime, right?”
Despite what Dr. Phil thinks, Jenner has already started the transition. However, details on a rumored sex change are up in the air presumably until the Diane Sawyer interview airs.
He was photographed wearing a dress outside of his home this week and he is rumored to have undergone a breast augmentation already.
