Actress Elizabeth Olsen is on the cover of Fashion magazine’s May 2015 cover and she described her feelings when it comes to social media and why she doesn’t use any of those platforms.

According to E! News, The 26-year-old star of Avengers: Age of Ultron said she does not any social media like Facebook or Instagram since she feels as though “that’s how people control their image. My image, in my mind, is just to disappea. I just want people to see the work I’m proud of.”

She felt that having sites such as Twitter or Instagram allowed people to “touch you” and she did not want to experience that. Her co-stars Scarlett Johansson and James Spader are very private as well and Chris Evans only has Facebook and Twitter. One star who is active on the social media site Tumblr is Mark Ruffalo.

Olsen also talked about joining the Avengers franchise as The Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda Maximoff. “She’s grounded and centered because she’s always receiving information- she knows everyone’s everything because of her telekinesis. She has access to the past, the present, the future and parallel universes- she can connect with all of them.”

In the issue, topics Olsen also touched on included how her generation is portrayed in movies and television, saying she found it “annoying” that they are portrayed as “entitled slackers and hackers.”

Olsen also discussed choosing film roles and turning down one script because she felt that there was “enough violence in the world.”

The May 15 issue of Fashion magazine will be out April 20.
