Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews probably didn’t expect this to happen when she mocked former Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson on Twitter in 2013. After her boyfriend Jarret Stoll was arrested for drug possession, Henderson decided to follow through with a threat to mock her in return.
Stoll, 32, plays for the Los Angeles Kings and was arrested on Friday in Las Vegas. According to The Associated Press, police said that Stoll may have had MDMA or ecstasy. He received a felony drug charge and was released on $5,000 bond.
TMZ has since reported that Stoll was arrested during a party with teammates and other members of the organization. The team did not make the playoffs this season.
Henderson took the case as an opportunity to take revenge for Andrews’ 2013 tweet after he was suspended for failing a drug test. “He mocking anyone now?” Andrews wrote. Then, Henderson replied, “ima save that and you will be the first person ill mock.”
And save it he did. As NESN points out, Henderson tweeted the ultimate burn on Andrews Monday.
Next time Andrews, you probably shouldn’t make fun of a person publicly on Twitter.
