Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield appear to be taking a break from their relationship and it might be permanent.
US Magazine reported that about a month ago rumors started circulating that the couple was just taking a break but now the relationship appears to be officially over.
One of the reasons for the breakup may have been that Garfield has been getting into character for his upcoming role in Martin Scorsese's latest film Silence. Silence also stars Adam Driver and Liam Neeson. The role requires Garfield to go into a dark place character wise and that might have been spilling over into his personal life. He is currently on set in Taiwan filming.
Garfield will be playing the role of a 17th-century Jesuit in the upcoming feature, Celebuzz added.
Stone has reportedly moved back to L.A. and the two have been spending a lot of time apart. The Birdman star was seen leaving her main gym in L.A.
The couple started dating in early 2010 and the couple was seen onscreen together for The Amazing Spider Man and The Amazing Spider Man 2.
