Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have made their relationship official and tied the knot this past weekend in Santa Monica, Calif.
The Vampire Diaries star and his fiancé got married on Sunday. They got engaged in January after about six months of dating.
This is the second marriage for Reed, who was married to Paul McDonald for two years before they split last year. Somerhalder dated his Vampire Diaries co-star, Nina Dobrev, for three years before splitting in 2013.
Ahead of their outdoor wedding, Somerhalder tweeted he was having the “most beautiful morning ever...”
They certainly have the support of their friends and colleagues, as Somerhalder’s co-star Kat Graham said of the couple, “I haven't met two people that were more of soul mates than those guys. They are so absolutely amazing. Everyone loves them, and I really can't imagine him with anyone else,” Daily Mail reports.
"Nikki couldn’t be more excited and thrilled to be marrying Ian. They're both so in love and so happy,” a source told Us Weekly ahead of the wedding.
The newlyweds share a love of animals and own two dogs together; Nietzsche and Enzo, a kitten named Sohalia and two horses; Eagle and Millie.
