Jennifer Lopez will again pay tribute to the late Selena Quintanilla, this time at the upcoming Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Lopez made a name for herself by portraying Quintanilla on screen in the 1997 biopic Selena. Quintanilla was murdered at the age of 23 by her fan club president.
Telemundo made the announcement on Al Rojo Vivo and Lopez later weighed in with a statement.

“It's an honor, a great honor to be able to, 20 years after her death, to do a tribute for Selena," she said, E! Online reports.
"She continues to be someone that inspires. It's something that excites me very much. And I want to do something special, very special—just like she was—in this tribute."
Another way Quintanilla will be honored is through a hologram, which is currently in the works.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will air on Telemundo on April 30.
