The stars of Avengers: Age of Ultron are wrapping up their media blitz to convince us to see a movie we were going to see anyway. Jeremy Renner’s latest appearance on The Tonight Show required him to test his skills as a singer to prove that Hawkeye isn’t completely useless.
Renner sang about his skills to the tune of Ed Sheeran’s hit “Thinking Out Loud,” to prove that he can do more than just archery. The actor went all the way, even wearing his Hawkeye outfit with his bow and arrow sitting on the piano.
The list of skills Hawkeye has that we never knew about include opening a pickle jay, playing an extra in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, kicking ass at Mario Kart, playing trombone in a ska band and can get free guacamole at Chipotle. Impressively, he reached second base during his Tinder date. Oh, and his cat has his own Instagram page. That will really help the Avengers out during a fight with Ultron.
Maybe Renner’s performance will inspire Disney to make an Avengers album. (It would not be surprising if they are.)
