Kim Kardashian has broken her silence on her stepfather’s recent confirmation he’s undergoing a gender transition.

Kardashian, along with all of her siblings, have been supportive on social media since Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer aired. In fact, Jenner called her the “most supportive” of the transition out of the Kardashian side.

"I'm really happy for him that he is living his life the way he wants to live it," she explained to Matt Lauer on Today. "And that he has found inner peace and just pure happiness. That's what life is about."

Continuing on to say she supports him “100 percent,” Kardashian admitted there was an adjustment period within the family and there still is.

Part of that adjustment is reaching out for help, with therapy and to seek guidance from organizations like GLAAD to learn how to be as “respectful” as possible of his transition.

"Until that transition is done, we've learned that you do refer to him as 'him,'" she said.

One thing is for sure, the family just wants him to live life as his true self. "I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself," she said.
