Kim Richards appeared on Dr. Phil on Tuesday following her arrest in an attempt to explain herself and in the process, she admitted to relapsing even before the drunken night at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge.
Richards explained her strained relationship with her sister and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Kyle Richards, and her niece drove her to drink again.
“I did have drinks a couple other times over the past few months. It was wine,” she explained, admitting she was lying on the reunion show when she denied breaking her sobriety.
"I was ashamed to say anything at the reunion, embarrassed. I would have loved to say to the girls, 'You know what, you're right,' but the way they were coming at me, they didn't make it easy,” she explained.
Richards, 50, has reportedly checked into rehab since the arrest earlier this month and she’s due in court on May 10.
