The Bruce Jenner 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer has made headlines around the world and social media was reacting to the news in real time. Amongst those tweeting out thoughts and support was ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, Kirs Humphries.
Humphries tweeted the following at around 10 p.m. "Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou," The Hollywood Reporter added. Humphries went through a very public divorce from Kardashian and has not been close with the family since.
After much scrutiny of the social media message, The Washington Wizards NBA player clarified what he meant this morning and said that he always supported Bruce. "I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across," he posted, followed by, "FullySupportBruce."
Jenner was very open during his interview with Sawyer. He explained that he had been confused about his gender identity for a long time and that he is now a woman. He also announced that Jenner will be featured in documentary style series that will tell the story of his transition from male to female, E! Online reported.
