Kristen Stewart has distanced herself from fame in the years since Twilight and doesn’t understand why anyone would want any part in that world.
In the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, she called fame “pointless” and Hollywood “disgustingly sexist.”
"Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard,” she explained, continuing of Hollywood, “It's so offensive it's crazy.”
Stewart, who won a French Oscar for Clouds of Sils Maria recently, went on to call fame the “worst thing in the world.”
“When people say, 'I want to be famous' Why? You don't do anything,” she continued.
Though her ex, Robert Pattinson, is now engaged to FKA Twigs, they did film a sex scene for Twilight when they were together. Even then she called it “grotesquely uncomfortable” because of the way it was “contrived.”
“We had to do the most epic sex scene of all time. It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, 'How do we live up to that?' It was agony,” she said.
