Michael Keaton hosted Saturday Night Live last night and delivered a monologue that is still being talked about.
According to E! News, the Birdman actor reprised two roles he is best known for, both Beetlejuice and Batman.
Along with Keaton’s hosting nod, the show dealt with the controversial Religious Freedom law in Indiana and featured musical guest Carly Rae Jepsen. The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus also had a cameo on the show.
Keaton is no stranger to Saturday Night Live. He also hosted in 1982 and 1992.
Us Weekly reported that it was the work of two cast members of the hit show, Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan, who wanted him to play Batman during the openin bit of the program. Keaton also starred in a skit as a creepy fan of Easter.
His impression of his iconic Batman character was perfect and he once said that he is “very secure” in the fact that no matter how long it’s been, he is still Batman.
