Miley Cyrus took to her twitter Thursday to blast Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton for comments he made about the “religious freedom” measures in Indiana and Arkansas on CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer Wednesday.

Washington Post reports that when Blitzer asked Senator Cotton about attempts to pass a Religious Freedom Restoration Act in Indiana and Arkansas he said, "I think it's important we have a sense of perspective about our priorities. In Iran, they hang you for the crime of being gay. They’re currently imprisoning an American preacher for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in Iran. We should focus on the most important priorities that our country faces right now."

Cyrus has been among a number of celebrities rallying against Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The “Wrecking Ball” singer previously called Indiana Governor Mike Pence an “asshole.”

This time she took aim at Senator Cotton, giving out his phone number and encouraging her 19.4 million followers to give him a call.

"Senator Cotton thinks gay community needs to get 'perspective' cuz 'In Iran they hang you for the crime of being gay.' Let's stir some sh-t up! Senator Cotton (202) 224-2353!!!! Happy Hippies call & express why freedom is important to us & our country!" Cyrus wrote.

It seems the 22-year-old may be making an impact. Cotton’s Senate office leaves callers with a message that says, “mailbox is full. Please call again later.” Calls to his Arkansas offices in Little Rock and Springfield also went unanswered, according to Washington Post.
