Rapper Nelly was arrested Saturday morning by Tennessee State Troopers on felony drug charges.

At around 9:20 a.m., the 40-year-old’s bus was pulled over because it failed to display a U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association sticker, ABC News reports.

Trooper Michael Loftis noticed a smell of marijuana coming from the bus as he reached it and conducted a probable cause search alongside Tennessee Highway patrol Sgt. Donald Jennings, WBIR notes.

Troopers found five rocks that tested positive for meth and a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the sleeper area of the bus. Troopers also found a stash of guns including a .50 caliber pistol, a .45 caliber pistol and a .500 magnum Smith and Wesson, a news release states.

Besides the “Country Grammar” rapper, there were five other people on the bus, according to WBIR. Brian Jones, a convicted felon, was also arrested for possession of a handgun.

Both Nelly and Jones were taken to the Putnam County Jail. The weapons and drugs were seized.
