Just days after its entire first season was posted, Netflix has renewed Bloodline for a second season. The series opened to critical acclaim and features a roster of acclaimed actors in the cast.

The series stars Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights, Zero Dark Thirty) as a detective in the Florida Keys who struggles to keep his family’s secrets hidden after his rough older brother comes home. Linda Cardellini stars as his sister, while Ben Mendelsohn stars as the older brother. Norbert Leo Butz plays their other brother. Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard play their parents.

Netflix announced that it will pick up the new series on Tuesday, both TV Line and The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

Bloodline was created by Damages veterans Glenn Kessler, Todd A. Kessler and Daniel Zelman. It is produced by KZK Producersion and Sony Pictures TV.

Most of Netflix’s original shows have been renewed for more seasons. Marco Polo, Hemlock Grove, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Bojack Horseman have all been renewed. Orange is the New Black’s third season will be posted on June 12 and House of Cards’ third season was posted earlier this year.
