Dinosaurs. Flying cars with wing doors. Kung-fu. Walking arcade machines. ‘80s computers. How could Kung Fury get any better? Add David Hasselhoff.

Hasselhoff stars in a video for “True Survivor,” the main song for the Kickstarter-funded project King Fury, a short film in which the title character has to stop Adolf Hitler - we mean Kung Fuhrer. Considering the entire film is a tribute to over-the-top ‘80s action movies, it seems only fitting that a Hasselhoff star in a video for the project.

The former Knight Rider star adds ‘80s swagger to the track, providing Kung Fury with some much-needed inspiration. The two fight villains together, along with the help of a walking arcade machine. Dinosaurs are also thrown in for no particular reason and they get to ride one at the end.

On Kickstarter, Kung Fury raised $630,019 and production has already started. There’s even a trailer, which is where some of the footage in the Hasselhoff video comes from.
