While getting ready to prepare for his duties with the Australian army, Prince Harry had some words of wisdom to give teenagers as he said hello to a crowd of well-wishers.
According to E! News, the younger brother of Prince William told the crowd that it was time to stop with the selfies. He said, “Seriously you need to get out of it. I know you’re young, but selfies are bad.”
Prince Harry has some support in his feelings about selfie from his grandmother, Elizabeth II, although she did once photobomb two girls taking a selfie during the Commonwealth Games.
Her son Prince Andrew has also spoken out about them. He has called selfies “disconcerting” but has also said that using phones to record meet-and-greets was a “new reality” they had to deal with.
TIME reported his assignment with the Australian Defence Force will take place for one month.
A statement from the army’s Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin reportedly said in a statement the assignment would allow the Prince to have an “opportunity to gain greater insight into our Army’s domestic operating environment and capabilities.”
