Yet another season of intense, excessive, Atlanta drama is coming to an end.
All of the ladies are wearing white for the first part of this three-part reunion. One of the first questions asked is Andy asking Kenya if her boyfriend from Millionaire Matchmaker is still her boyfriend, turns out they are still dating according to Kenya. She says they are taking things slow and seeing where it goes.
Nene is talking about how she was the highest grossing “madame” on Cinderella on Broadway, ever in history. Congrats, but only 6 minutes into the episode and the bragging has already started. Now she and Claudia are kind of going at each other. Nene says she’s going to go throughout the day just admitting that everyone is right and she is wrong.
Nene changes the attitude shift to Kandi, asking why Kandi hates her so much. Kandi says she doesn’t hate Nene, she hates Nene’s “superior complex.” Kandi just spoke the most truth that has been spoken on Atlanta in years.
Nene absolutely has a superior complex. However, she doesn’t understand where Kandi is coming from, or claims she doesn’t. Instead of listening to what Kandi has to say, Nene does what Nene does best and speaks over everyone saying “I’m the problem, I’m the problem,” when clearly that is not at all what she thinks. It’s rather obnoxious.
The drama shifts to the riff between Kandi and Phaedra, after Phaedra thought Kandi wasn’t really there as a friend during the absence of her husband. Instead, Phaedra thought that Nene was a good friend. Kandi is upset considering Nene constantly belittled and talked crap on Phaedra all of these seasons up until this season. Does no one else find it ironic that Nene decides to be Phaedra’s friend whenever Phaedra obviously needed one during the time of filming? Hmm..
Time for a break.
Phaedra is now talking about her husband Apollo being in prison and not taking her kids to visit. She hates that a lot of people criticize her. However, honestly, Phaedra acts like Apollo’s prison is 10 states away. He is in Kentucky, and his family from Atlanta has come to visit several times already. Additionally, Kandi says she has been there to visit family that was serving time and insists that it’s not bad. Bottom line, Apollo deserves to see his kids. If Phaedra doesn’t want to go, couldn’t Apollo’s family maybe take them?
Porsha has joined the ladies on the couches now and is being asked about Claudia. Porsha hints that Claudia’s entire storyline is trying to argue with her. Ridiculous. Porsha is obviously still upset that she was reduced to part-time this season. She says her main problem with Claudia is that Claudia insists she sleeps with married men. Claudia refutes this statement saying that Porsha admitted to dating married men when they were in Puerto Rico while she was drunk one night. Claudia alleges a number of the housewives were there and dares her to say more. Porsha says things are crossing into slanderous territory, Claudia tells Porsha to file a lawsuit if she’s “about that life.” Wow. Claudia just showed up.
It’s rather surprising that, up till this point, Kenya Moore really hasn’t seemed to have a lot to say. Perhaps she is taking it easy until someone hits on certain subjects or until someone comes for her? After all, she did get attacked at last year’s reunion. Who could forget that?
Andy is asking Porsha if she would ever apologize to Kenya. Of course, Porsha says no because she does’t feel that Kenya’s apology to her was sincere. Andy even seems to somewhat think that Porsha should at least offer an apology to Kenya, which she should. Porsha can’t stand it that these people are speaking her truth. When they do, she threatens a law suit.
The episode wraps up with Phaedra and Kenya arguing. Kenya brings up Phaedra’s Christianity, to which Phaedra tells Kenya there were “multiple whores” in the bible, so Kenya should be in good company. Wow. What an insult.
Kenya throws shade at Porsha by saying if she were the word that Phaedra called her, she would have 5 Rolls Royce’s, as compared to Porsha who has one. Burn. Kenya adds that she would “own it,” before pointing and Porsha and saying “unlike you.”
The episode cuts out leaving us hanging for next week!
