Sarah Stage, the model who sparked a controversy over social media by showing off her small baby bump on Instagram while already eight-months pregnant, has given birth to a healthy baby boy.
Back in March, Stage’s photos of her retaining her six-pack abs while still pregnant went viral, with some wondering if it was healthy. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she insisted that her doctor told her the baby was healthy.
“The doctor said my baby is healthy,” she told ET at the time. “All my girlfriends that are pregnant now, their bellies are a lot bigger, so I asked him and her started laughing. He was like, 'You're fine.'"
As People noted, it appeared that she took a swipe at critics by posting a picture of herself eating at an In-N-Out Burger. She posted another photo from an In-N-Out Burger just yesterday, with the caption reading, “Cravings.”
Stage’s baby bump still looked smaller than usual on Monday, when she wrote, “Still waiting.”
Well, she didn’t wait too much longer. TMZ reported this morning that her baby boy, James Hunter, was born. The baby weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs., 7 oz. and is 22 inches long.
