Sean 'Diddy' Combs will be expanding his resume by working on a new animation series that will rival that of South Park. Combs will be featured as an executive producer on the show and is working with Chip Hill, a writer on King of the Hill, to create this story.

Philly.com reported that the story is set to take place in Detroit and will focus on African-American students at the fictional Brightmoor Elementary school.

The animated comedy is currently being produced for FX, Deadline first reported. Early speculation includes that Diddy would be making an animated cameo and that the soundtrack to the show would be given extra attention.

This is not P.Diddy's first time working in the television arena, he worked on MTV's hit reality show Making The Band and Run's House. Making The Band formed the pop group, Danity Kane and featured how Diddy creates music and groups in the industry.

South Park has become the third longest animated sitcom in television history and debuted back in 1997
