Taraji Henson has been delighting fans on Empire and now she is set to make a comeback on the CBS drama Person of Interest. She was last seen in season 3 when her character met a tragic end.
TVGuide.com reported that Henson, who played Detective Joss Carter, on the show before she was killed off in the third season, would return in flashbacks. Her partner, Detective Reese (Jim Caviezel), tries to solve a cold case that they had worked on, but hadn’t been able to solve.
A teaser of the script was shown on TVGuide.com, in which Reese and Carter were on a stakeout and complaining about paperwork. Fans of the show will surely enjoy seeing her character once again, even if it’s only in flashback form.
E! News reported the episode would air April 14. Henson’s character was killed off when she was shot after investigating a case involving corrupt cops. Her current show Empire just finished its first season.
Person of Interest airs at 10 pm Tuesdays on CBS.
