On this week's The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon is upset when he learns that he wasn’t one of the scientists that was invited to a symposium at Richard Feynman’s house.
During date night with Amy, Sheldon feels down that he wasn’t included. He mentions that it is like when he was a kid and his brother and sister wouldn’t let him into the forts they built in the living room. Amy suggests that they build their own fort, so the two make an elaborate fort. They then decide to make a chart to determine the what is the best fort ever. However, forts like Fort Knox are no match for their creation, Fort Cozy McBlanket.
When it hits 10:00, Amy points out that the agreed upon date night is over. Sheldon is having fun and says that they could extend it. Amy suggests that they stay in the fort and have their first sleepover. Sheldon agrees to a family friendly, G-rated sleepover. Amy is already prepared as she hid pajamas and a toothbrush in the apartment two years ago in case something like this ever came up.
Meanwhile, Penny does a podcast with Wil Wheaton where she talks about her role in Serial Apeist 2. Kevin Smith calls in and offer’s Penny an audition for a role in his new movie, Clerks III, that he says is different from all of his other movies. Leonard is against her auditioning for the role. He thinks that she will just get her heart broken and he doesn’t want things to change. He tells her that she shouldn’t leave her current job since she is finally making decent money. Penny shares that it is more than decent and she makes twice as much as he does. This upsets Leonard as he went to school half his life, has a doctorate and still has loans to pay.
The two bicker on the air as Wheaton won’t turn off the podcast. Leonard decides that he is okay with the idea of Penny auditioning for the movie. Wheaton points out that Penny played him, as that is what she wanted.
Finally in this week's episode, Howard discovers that he has a half-brother, Josh. He comes by the house since a lawyer was trying to get in touch with his dad because his name was still on the title for the house. Howard feels uncomfortable and wants him to leave, that is, until he becomes interested and impressed that he is an astronaut.
It later comes out that Howard once had sexual relations with a robot he built. Instead of feeling weird about the situation, Josh asks if the robot was sexy. Howard explains that it was just a robot hand. Josh points out it is all that he needs. That is when Howard realizes that they really are brothers and they hug.
