The 2015 MTV Movie Awards went down Sunday, April 12. The red (or blue) carpet brought a lot of surprises with guests and their outfit of choice. There were some hits and misses as the night took off.

Celebrities ditched their ball gowns since the ceremony is a lot more casual than the Oscars or Golden Globes, so we saw a lot of party/cocktail dresses and pant suits for the ladies and a few of the guys dressed down as well.

Jennifer Lopez, Brittany Snow and Michael B Jordan are among the few guests who turned heads in a good way at last night's ceremony. This year, the red carpet got a big pop of color, from pink to yellow to sky blue. There were a lot of patterns, geometric and abstract, that seemed to fit in easily for the evening. Overall, this night of interesting fashion turned out to be a good one.

Here are the top 10 Best Dressed at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.

10. Victoria Justice

This dress wasn't great at first, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. It flattered her body type and went well with her shoes and clutch. A little more accessorizing and a better hair style would make this even better.

9. Bella Thorne

I like this dress for two reasons; 1, the color goes well with her skin tone and 2, the pattern is very different, yet it doesn't overpower her.

8. Miles Teller

I like this look because it blends casual and formal together. The Jacket was a nice touch to dial down the outfit. While a lot of the other men showed up in suits, I like that Teller took a risk and it paid off. Let's face it, he looks good in anything he wears.

7. Kiersey Clemons

Clemons looked gorgeous in this dress. The Transparent star showed a little leg in this dark yellow gown with a plunging neck line. The color suited her and the simple make up is a nice touch to draw attention to the dress.

6. Brittany Snow

I loved the red and pink combination. The pencil shirt flatters her body shape and the outfit as a whole was very appropriate for the evening.

Cho (Teem Wolf) looked stunning in this two piece. The color was bold and yet appropriate. The hair, accessories, shoes and makeup were all hits in this ensemble.

3. Judd and Iris Apatow

Judd got cool points for bringing his daughter, but they earned even more points for how well they were dressed. Judd looked classy in this gray suit and Iris was stunning in her blue party dress and age appropriate heels. Love it!

2. Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer always stuns when she hits a red carpet, so I wasn't expecting anything less than fantastic from her tonight. I love the black and gold accessories as well as the hair. I love the mini skirt and suit jacket and I love the makeup, the shoes, and the clutch. Another perfect outfit for JLo.

1. Scarlet Johansson

What I love most about this outfit is the color. The pink and sky blue (which also matches the heels) are a great combination. I love that it's a jumpsuit and the detail at the top is stunning. The color suits her skin tone well and the pixie cut is my favorite look on her. A perfect 10!
