Blue Bloods leads us toward the season finale when Deputy Chief Don Kent is murdered along with his wife, Maggie. Following the murder of Deputy Kent, Frank orders everyone to work on the case in order to bring the perpetrator to justice. Danny leads the investigation, which is compounded when a witness named Hector Florez is scared to talk.
Meanwhile, a kid named Curtis works in the hospital with his mother and Linda, who are both checking on him since he was seen near known gang members. They are worried he is going to get involved in gang activity. Jamie also checks on him, wanting to make sure he keeps going down the right path in his life.
The investigation into the murders leads to a man named Mario Hunt, who is in a gang known as the Warrior Kings. The gang took issue with Kent working to disband their organization. Even as Danny runs into hurdles, including tension with his sister Erin, he does his best to bring the killer to justice. But by the end of the episode, the investigation takes a deadly turn when a Regan family member’s life is put in danger.
