On the latest Criminal Minds, the team investigates the murder of Lance, Jenna, Donna, and Clara Kingman. The family is wealthy and the only people who survived appear to be Lance’s boyfriend, Ezra, and Donna’s husband, Frank, and son Dillon Kingman, who didn’t seem to be home. After beginning their investigation, the team finds out that Frank was having an affair, and more information comes to light that helps bring them closer to the killer.
While the case is going on, Hotch tries to deal with his father-in-law, Roy. It has been almost six years since his ex-wife Haley was killed and things are still rough between the two of them as Roy blames him for her death. Hotch discovers Roy was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Jessica, his sister-in-law, is trying to decide what to do about his living arrangements.
This was a powerful episode of Criminal Minds, giving us a look at how Haley’s death has still reverberated through the family. We also got to see Jack and see how the little boy is doing as he continues to grow up. It is always great to see Hotch and his son together.
