Tonight’s episode of NCIS: New Orleans was gut wrenching, jaw dropping, and tense as a hostage situation put Loretta, Sebastian, and Danny, the teenager Loretta took in, in danger.

After the death of Petty Officer Felix Armstrong, Loretta is ready to do the autopsy. However, a man named Phillip Culliver, comes into the autopsy room and threatens them with a gun. He was meeting Armstrong at the airport when Armstrong died of what appeared to be a heart attack and now he wants to take the body.

Meanwhile, the team is investigating Armstrong, but can find nothing on what he is up to. At first, they have no idea there is anything wrong in the morgue until a video call with Loretta clues Pride in. It is a tense situation as Danny gets shot during a struggle and Sebastian steps up to help when Loretta injures herself.

Eventually, the team is led to a man named Doctor Yeltin, who informs them Culliver is Marcus Martel. It appears he wanted something from Armstrong’s body and the team is eventually led to a classified documentation of Martel’s brother’s murder while working as a SEAL. In order to save his friends, Pride makes a choice that could get him into trouble.

This was an amazing, powerful, and thrilling episode that put our characters through a lot. We saw the desperation from Loretta in her efforts to save Danny’s life and Sebastian stepped up in order to get Martel what he wanted while also helping Danny to survive. We have put together the top ten moments that made our hearts pound as we wondered if our team would be all right. What did you like from the episode “The Insider?”

As Pride is trying to negotiate with Marcus, he asks him to let Danny get to the hospital. Loretta points out that CJ should not have to feel the pain Marcus feels over losing Nathan.
